Wisdom Steps 10th Anniversary Celebration and "Honor our Elders" Conference was a wonderful event and we hosted over 400 American Indian elders from all around Minnesota.

The event was held June 15-17, 2010 at the Black Bear Resort and Casino. We honored the founding board members who helped start Wisdom Steps 10 years ago, our current board members and advisory committee members and Wisdom Steps partners and participating tribes. It was wonderful.

We started the event with a Traditional Pow-wow and Feast on Tuesday night, held workshops and an Awards Dinner on Wednesday, conducted a Wisdom Steps Walk and heard a wonderful motivational keynote speaker, Billy Mills who concluded our event on Thursday. We want to thank the Fond-du-Lac Tribe and FDL Wisdom Steps for being such a wonderful host for our elders! Chi-Miigwech.
